We use the following tools on our web projects: - Adobe Photoshop & Image Ready : this is what digital photographers and graphic creation companies use. We use Adobe Image Ready to optimize the size of the images to minimize the download time. - Macromedia Homesite : probably the best HTML editor in the world. Include support for third party software like CSE Validator and Topstyle. - Bradbury Topstyle: since HTML 4, HTML programmers use Cascaded Style Sheet (CSS). CSS are wonderful, unfortunately CSS support is never fully implemented in our browsers. They all lack something in CSS. This is why we consider the use of a such tool mandatory to point out the unsupported features we want to use and make our web page render the same whatever browser you use. - CSE HTML Validator: the reference tool to validate your HTML code. It also gives hundread advices on how to make correct web pages that comply to the HTML specifications, web page that look sexy to search engine robots, etc. Syntax error?If you consider your website as a professional tool, and you are because you are reading this, would you consider your investment ruined because the web page are not syntaxically correct? Probably not. Search engines stop immediately to parse your web site when they find errors on a web page. Some browser display a white page when they are not able to render your page, thanks to the bad HTML code...
