Reliance Lighting
Reliance Lighting specializes in the development and manufacture of electronic control gear (ECG) for fluorescent lamps.
They have developped a new ECG based on a PIC16F675 Microchip microcontroller.
The totally new control scheme extends the life of the lamp by more then 30% over other conventional electronic control gear.
We have developped the embedded software that control the lamps, including fault control and recovery.

Development of the embedded software: a Windows CE 3.0 C++ application runing on an x86 platform. The device collects data coming from up to eight RS232 sources, convert them to a standard format, store them in RAM and DiskOnChip based buffer for a complete autonomy. The device communicates with a Windows Server through a RS232 serial link (up to 2) and/or an Ethernet connection (one port). This software is a 2 years-man project.

Development of the IASI geometric collimator bay tester software. The software acts as a gateway between a UNIX host and two PLCs (one for the 6-axis controller, and another to control the temperature of the black body).
The software can also work in a standalone mode.
Written in MS Visual C++ 6.0 running under Windows 2000 Professional, 3 Months man project.
